Social Fabric Arts Program

Social Fabric is conceived as a multi-faceted, extra-curricular, fibre arts program for young people that promotes social justice, critical thinking, and democratic participation.

Developed as a pilot project for the YWCA, integral to the program is its synthesis of fabric art, ‘learning by living,’ and social and educational values. Participants explore social art (donated contributions), public art (official installations), and personal art (inner revelations).
